Hidden Rats & Sea Monkey Horror

Several small projects of mine have bubbled up to the surface this week! I once again participated in the Sunday Zine Club and managed to create a fun little hidden object zine in an afternoon called, Rat Escape!

The theme for Jam #16 is, Escape. I had a few ideas bouncing around in my head but eventually landed on creating a zine about rats using a sharpie and scraps of paper. Nothing too crazy, but I ended up really liking it! You should check it out, it's my first zine to feature two versions: one for print and the other for easy digital viewing.

On the complete opposite side of things I put together a Monster of the Week mystery called, Sea Monkey Water Park. MOTW is a horror TTRPG that I love running for friends. This is a mystery I originally ran two years ago for a friend and his family- and then recently I ran it for a few of my Discord pals!

It's a summer mystery, so not super fitting for the Halloween season but I really wanted to put out another MOTW mystery since my first one, They Cloned Mothman! has gotten consistent attention over on Itch.io since I created it for a game jam last summer. I assume people like it, although it has zero ratings so who knows!

Eventually my sketchbook zine will be available on Itch.io and probably Ko-fi after the Gachapon Zine ends its run! Also I plan to sell stickers, so keep an eye out for that in December.
