My 2026 Zines
Wow, okay I've been incredibly busy in my personal life. Birthdays, art events, video games, family, and so much more! (I should document some of the fun art projects here in some way, we'll see!)
But I've been meaning to talk about the three zines I've worked on in 2026 that are available for free on my Itch.io page! First is Dream Rabbit, a 48-word RPG that I didn't think would be possible after working on my 200 word RPG last year. I'm so glad I worked on Dream Rabbit as it helped get me back into the zine groove and was so much fun to put together.
The next zine is a deeply personal project where I redrew my childhood comic, "Me Ameba!". I've been looking back at my childhood comics and stories, it's been a real nostalgia hit for me and has honestly inspired me to create more goofy projects including creating more Me Ameba! for the modern day! Stay tuned for that.
The last zine I have available is my Scavenger Hunt zine which was created for Sunday Zine Club #22. I've been really wanting to participate in this zine jam since my last one back in October! I really love the idea of participating in a scavenger hunt and sharing what you find with friends or keeping the photos in a journal as a personal keepsake. If you try out the scavenger hunt, feel free to share with me some of your findings!
Before I end this blog post, I also want to share that I'm hosting an Indie Video Game Zine where you can submit artwork, writing, etc.. that I'll put together for a free zine sometime this June. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of the submissions and putting this together! All of the details can be found here.
And final note you should check out Hope Quest by Lemonpoppyseedgames! It's a wonderful little project that can hopefully inspire YOU to create something fun and cultivate some hope in a world that really needs it.
(Also I drew the little villainous kitty, Meowancholy hehe)
Thanks for reading! Until next time.
